Week 10 Open-Source Programs + Digital Video Cameras

So this week I learnt about source programs, they are free and some of them are alomost as good as similar non-free programs such as Photoshop. I am very keen to have a play with some open source programs and use them for my marketing plan assignment and at work in the library. Mum is keen to know what we have learnt this week too! I also want to check out the web links to the marketing ideas for my marketing assignment. I have completed my camera comparasin and submitted on Tuesday so that is a weight off my shoulders! Just have my Social media to complete possibly tonight, as I have a bye for my netball game tonight. Looking forward to the lesson on video cameras, I am familiar with the digital flip cameras as we have lots of these at work, along with another brand which im not sure about. I can turn them on and check the batterys of both brands, but I would like to know how to delete the videos. I havent taken the time to look at this function and leave it up to the students to worry about if they get full.

Last week of term 3

Well the last day of tafe for the term was pretty easy, just watched the last episode of the series on the internet. I cant wait to get my certificate, not long now then I can look for full time employment! I will hopefully get a library job but will settle for anything at the moment! Anyways better get back to my homework before I gotta go to work:)

Ok so im home from work and my class is on an excursion so I have decided to d a bit of homework inc updating my blog. I will post my camera comprarisons on the moodle. I will be at tafe in the morning for our last class of term 3, see you there:)

photoshop part 2 + internet video

I struggled to get the program photoshop to play nice! Im going to see if they have it at work so I can start to encorporate using it every day, it would be a major benifit to the library! Can't wait to show off my new found skills. Todays video was interesting too, im going to pay more attention next time I send an email and look out for those relating adverts when I click send!!!

Social media and group activites

Well after reading up on last weeks class I feel I have really let the team down with the task and would like to do my own assesment task as it is not fair that they have done all the work. I dont know if this is possible but i will sort something out.
I have decicded to do my social media presentation on Blogger + Twitter, I know I already had Twitter prior to this class but I only ever read the posts never really posted so I am going to attempt to broaden my knowledge on it!

Projector set up week

YAY we just won the chocolates for our awesome brochure! We rock:)
I really enjoyed creating the brochure, my team worked so well together, and everyone contributed equally which doesnt happen very often!

I breezed setting up the porjector, as thats what I do every single day at work!

I am all over Facebook, and MySpace.  I could learn more about Twitter tho!

Today we are discussing the 23 things, which I also learnt about last year but I have forgotten about them all so its a great refresher!
